Relationships can become strained when communication breaks down, resentment builds, or the same conflicts keep repeating without resolution. You may care deeply about your partner but still find yourselves misunderstanding each other, avoiding difficult conversations, or feeling increasingly disconnected. Couples therapy can create space to slow those patterns down, understand what is happening beneath the conflict, and develop healthier ways of communicating and working through challenges together.
I also work with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions, and other concerns that can make everyday life feel more difficult than it needs to. Therapy can help you better understand the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors contributing to what you are experiencing while developing practical strategies you can use outside of sessions.
My approach is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in both counseling and psychology. In addition to my clinical training, I am a professor in the Psychology Department at Nevada State University and have taught more than 35 undergraduate psychology courses. That experience has shaped the way I work with clients. I value helping people understand not only what they are experiencing, but why certain patterns develop and what they can do differently moving forward.
Together, we will identify meaningful goals, strengthen communication and coping skills, and work toward changes that feel realistic and sustainable. Whether you are looking for support individually or hoping to improve your relationship with your partner, my goal is to help you leave therapy with greater self-awareness, confidence, and practical tools for navigating the challenges ahead.

Outside Of Therapy
I find a sense of ease through family, nature, quiet moments, and activities that help me stay grounded and present. In my free time I enjoy traveling to new places, especially beach destinations.
I’m a documentary enthusiast and lifelong learner—I love discovering new ideas, perspectives, and stories. When I am not working, I’m always on the lookout for my next favorite restaurant—trying new foods is one of my favorite adventures.
